Oh Israel!

Dear Friends,

Many of you have written me asking about Israel, about my perspective on what is happening there. I have been avoiding the subject because it is so painful for me, but I need to write about it. One does not cover up festering soars with a bandaid. One attempts to bring healing.

First, there is a general assumption, in the West, that the story in Israel is reflective of the story in the USA.  There is one level at which that is true: the enemy is doing his best to confuse the governments, causing them to malfunction so he can take control, thus purposely trying to hijack our governments, our societies, our relationships, our worship, our intimacy with God and our love for each other.

But Trump’s story is not like Netanyahu’s story, the personalities, their positions in their own societies, and the relationships between the players are wildly different.

In the United States, the international cartel wanted to fulfill its agenda, which required the removal of Trump.  In Israel, a beloved leader, Netanyahu, had become something many people could no longer tolerate. Political enemies came together for no other purpose than to remove him. It is said that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and over the last four years, Israel has seen their beloved “Bibi, Habibi,” (my pal, Bibi) behave in ways that caused many to ostracize themselves from him.  The nation was not willing to oust him nor support him, and that is why we did not have a working government since 2019.  Now, many of the opposition parties have come together to restore order to the country, to establish a working government despite their differences.

But will Zionists successfully share the inner circle with Palestinians, ultra-conservatives with liberals? Is this a God set-up? Will this rare display of unity result in people finally listening to each other, hearing each other’s needs and desires, and responding with hearts of compassion and minds of clarity? Have we gone from the frying pan to the fire, or have we gone from the frying pan to the sink for washing? In the past, when we gave away land for peace, to make friends with our neighbors, it only created hell for all sides. Now we have invited those have been hurt by Zionism into the very center of the government. We are in a startling moment, and we need your prayers.

It was in 2018 that the LORD told me He was done with “mixture” in Israel. I understood that He was done with the combination of the holy and profane. I watched Israel flounder as the “mixture” in Netanyahu, and other people in government, surfaced, When Israel was heavily impacted by Covid 19, I saw it become deeply indebted to international pharmaceutical companies for the vaccines. That caused more levels of “mixture” to surface, both on the level of medicine and the level of global politics and positioning. The recent war, and the internal violence of the Palestinians within the country, highlighted our inability to live well with our internal “mixture.” How does a “Zionist” society share love and a home with those of another faith, some of whom wish to see the country collapse, who also claim the land as their own?  We have yet to find a solution.

Now we have a mixed government. Some people are angry and frightened, others are tentatively excited and happy, many Palestinians are jubilant. But I wonder if this is a divine set-up. The only solution to the challenges that will arise will be Yeshua’s Heart for us all. Please pray, not for this party or that, not for one practical solution or another, but for the Captain of the LORD’s Army to arise.

Joshua 5:13-15 Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, he raised his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” He said, “No; rather I have come now, captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” And the captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

What would Yeshua do? Shall we truly call upon His Name, and expect Him to arise now in Israel? What would that cause? Do we dare apply that standard to our own lives, in a nation that has so-far rejected Him?  Yes.  I believe we must. He came for us first.  And even if we have rejected Him, His standards apply to us, because He offered them to us first. He is the only way to stand without mixture. With Love. Forgiveness. Trust. Faith. A personal relationship with God. Welcoming each other into God’s land with an open hand. Our land is God’s land. Yeshua is needed for everyone. It is scary to pray His Name over Israel.  That will cause much more mixture to surface. (Remember His first coming?) But we must. Please join me as the LORD leads you:

Dear Yeshua, Thank YOU for taking Your Place NOW in Israel’s government.  Thank YOU for arising now over Israel’s people and Israel’s government.  Thank YOU for bringing all mixture to the surface, and skimming all the dross away. Thank YOU for not accepting our compromises and our lies any longer.  Thank YOU for mercy and grace.  Thank YOU for being the Captain of the LORD’s Army.  May You arise now on God’s behalf. Amen.

Further, I have watched the world carefully since 2018, and I have seen that God is done with mixture everywhere.  In Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43, we learn that when the wheat and the weeds ripen, God first pulls out the weeds and burns them, and then He harvests the wheat.  The wheat bows its head because of the weight of its seed, but the weeds stand tall, because there is no fruit within them to weight them down. Their heads stand proud, and just like we see in the world today, they show off. “Soon,” in God’s timing, they will be tied into bundles, and burnt, and then the wheat will be harvested. God will end the mixture by first destroying the forces of evil, then blessing the forces of good.

And so, let us stand strong together, and watch the LORD work.  Let us not blame each other, but seek God’s Hand of forgiveness and love.  Let us find ways, beyond the politics and the various insanities, to stand firm and continue to love each other, beyond any comparison or judgment. Let us love, so unconditionally, we defeat the enemy with our breath. Please join me in this! Let us seek, together, to find a way to live in the heart of God’s Glorious goodness.  We will join His Army and defeat the enemy with Him. LORD GOD, BE WITH US! HINENI! HINENU! Here we all are … to worship You, to serve You, and to Love You!  Amen and amen.

MATTHEW 13: 24-29, 30-42 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and left. And when the wheat sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds also became evident. And the slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ But he *said, ‘No; while you are gathering up the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and at the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them; but (V)gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Then He left the crowds and went into (AD)the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the [v]weeds of the field.” And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears, let him hear.
