On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, and You Know Who You Are

There is a lot of talk these days about having supplies on hand, rooms for guests, and a means of emergency transportation. I have never been one to consider emergency preparedness. I did nothing for Y2K. But this moment feels different. Ever since 2018 the LORD has been talking to me about Noah and his ark. So now, as the LORD keeps reminding me to have provision on hand, to always keep my gas tank full, I ponder Noah building his ark, and the rest of the people ignoring God’s warnings. I am not frightened. Mostly, I keep my focus on God and His Glory. But if He is allowing judgment, big time, at this moment, I don’t want to become a martyr to my own foolishness. I am not interested in dying in my house because of starvation or thirst.

I find myself asking the LORD, again and again, to show me everything He wants me to know, especially about the current moment, to shield my eyes from everything that is not necessary for me to know, to show me how to pray, when to pray, and under what authority to pray, in order to have His utmost effectiveness. I ask Him to help me always pray and live from His Mountaintop, the true Mountaintop, His Throne is Heaven.  And this is what He wants of me.

When we pray from Yeshua’s Throne, things change, beauty and rest and love accompany us, regardless of what the challenges are.  Those challenges must bow to Christ, when we sit on His Lap on His Throne and pray together with Him, in accordance with His Will.

In “The Doors of Truth,” in Rick Joyner’s book, “The Final Quest,” Rick has a vision of a tall mountain.  He is climbing up the mountain, seeking AND FINDING the higher heights of heaven, when he sees a pastor diligently taking care of his flock, refusing to get distracted by the glories above.  Rick’s heart aches for this man.  Why can’t the pastor look, just once, at all the glories that are available, lifting his eyes to heaven, and walking up the mountain into God’s Glory?  But the pastor refuses to leave the hurting.  He says something like (a paraphrase), “Somebody needs to take care of these people, and it is my heart to do so.  You can go up the mountain, I will stay here to help the wounded.” Rick shakes his head in pity for the man, and continues up the mountain.  Later, much higher up, in the midst of a great battle over truth and lies, a large and magnificent eagle swoops down to give him advise and help him.  The eagle forcefully and clearly communicates to Rick the tools of truth he needs to win this battle in the LORD.  And then … all of a sudden, Rick recognizes the eagle.  He says, “You look familiar.” And the eagle says, “Yes, I am the pastor who stayed down at the bottom of the mountain to take care of the wounded.  One day, Wisdom showed me the ‘Door to Truth,’ which led me directly to the top of the mountain, and now, I soar into the heavens, and God has commissioned me to help you complete your journey.”

Like RIck, in this vision, we can be glorified by Yeshua’s glory, walk amongst His angels, listen to His manifold Spirits, experience ourselves dwelling upon the throne of God, discovering utter delirium and joy in the most spectacular world that is unimaginable. The things of earth can grow strangely dim in the light of God’s glory and grace. But God never gets distracted from His love for the earth, and never forgets His desire to care for us. We can’t soar to the full heights of “His Truth” if we lose sight of His Love for the earth and all who dwell here.

If we stay down with the pastor, and do our best to help those in pain and trauma, reaching out to the wounded in fellowship with Christ’s suffering, bringing people to the cross, to the glory of their redemption, and to the astounding, wondrous, amazing truth of Yeshua’s Resurrection, we can be totally glorified and shot up to heaven, time and time again, by God’s joyous delight in what we are doing. But if we do this “work” in our own strength, we can get caught in the pain and trauma, become so burdened by the grief, heartache, and evil, that we lose sight of God’s glory.

We can make a great difference on earth by feeling and healing and redeeming pain in Christ’s Name. But we must be wise. Whenever our attention is drawn away from God’s Glory, every moment we forget that we are living on God’s Mountaintop, the enemy can try to attack us. He can cause us to descend into the world of despondency … anger …  frustration … worry … or … or … or, till we find ourselves at the very bottom of the mountain, and wondering what happened to God. Can you relate?

When Yeshua became fully human he never stopped being fully God. He was singular, human … and omnipresent, global … at the same time.  Omniscient: all knowing. Omnipotent:  all powerful.  Being. God. Being Who He Is.  He was on earth, stripped of His authority and in heaven, living from His Total Authority, simultaneously. A unique, singular, human being with wants and desires, and also the omnipresent, all encompassing God with unending provision and satisfaction, simultaneously.  One. We sit on Yeshua’s throne in heaven while we live here on earth.  One. If we lose sight of the oneness of this reality, we move into a duality, where we can forget the full truth of who we are and why we are.

Duality vs unity …

Where are our hearts? Are we forgetting the earth to rejoice in the glories of heaven?  Or are we getting lost in the trials on earth, and forgetting the fragrance of heaven?  Are we weeping with those who weep, rejoicing with those who rejoice, fighting with those who are called to the battle, practicing shalom with those who are called to shalom, while at the same time, remaining at our location, on Yeshua’s Throne, on the Father’s Throne, on earth as it is in heaven?  Or? Are we losing our focus on God’s Son? Within whom we dwell? Can we soar with Him into the heavens … and remain grounded with Him on earth?

That is what my new film will be about.

In the meantime, here is the next podcast.
