Dear Friends! Shalom and Shavua Tov!
NEWS
Wanting to focus this newsletter on “news.”
So first, wishing you a wonderful week in Messiah Yeshua. The last week before Yom Tiruot/Rosh HaShanah.
When I returned from Israel to God’s Mountain in South Carolina, I felt like I was swimming in a deep pool under a waterfall with a gentle breeze and a blue sky. Drenched in God’s Goodness. It was my birthday, and we celebrated two ministry evenings with friends. I felt rich and joyous and special. Immediately afterwards, I left to do some teaching and ministering in Illinois. Soooo refreshing. Swimming in a relatively WARM Lake Michigan with friends, pinching myself … can life REALLY BE THIS GOOD????? The ministry that was hosting me is in Zion, Illinois, and I had the great privilege of introducing the participants to a greater understanding of Christianity’s Hebraic roots, and how the holidays flow with the timing of Yeshua’s First and (potential timing) of His Second Coming … (Here’s the link to the teaching.)
But then, the question returned … can life CONTINUE TO BE THIS GOOD???? Well no … at least not on the surface. God always seems to plan my “successes” to be followed by learning curves, and this one at first felt harsh. I came back with Covid and with everybody living on God’s Mountain wanting to leave. Why? Because they didn’t feel qualified to help me manifest my vision. They had been thinking about my vision and needs, and felt they couldn’t help me fulfill them. Plus, there were several personal problems that had been kept under wraps, that surfaced as “leaving” became a consideration. But I felt like they were exactly the people the LORD had provided to move all of us forward to the next level. They were the “perfect” people … not meaning any of us are perfect … smile … but they were God’s chosen people for this present work. I didn’t want them to go, and I didn’t need them to go. So … many conversations ensued, we resolved the personal issues, and we all drew closer. One family may still be leaving, but all of us grew in intimacy, love and friendship. Whew! Hard work and worth it. Yes, life can REALLY CONTINUE TO BE THIS GOOD … or become even better … if we continue to stay under the Potter’s Hands.
It’s still the month of Elul. The month where God is prepping us to receive more of His Glory. THAT PROCESS CAN LOOK VERY MESSY. Very inspiring, very exciting, very encouraging, but also very confrontative and challenging. It involves people, and God wants to create real COMMUNION between us He has His Way of making His meaning clear … and teaching us the lessons He wants us to learn. So with several levels of increased humility and appreciation for other people, we are all back on track on the Mountain and moving forward.
Meanwhile, I have had some financial concerns. If you feel like praying into these concerns, I would really appreciate it, and if you feel like contributing, that would be a blessing.
There were significant problems in the earth work that had been done putting in the road and building the Worship Center, Beit Emunah, currently nicknamed HoneyPot. It is costing $54,000 to shore up the land and put asphalt on the hilly parts of the road!!! Without it, the erosion would have continued unabated, and the worship center itself could have become compromised. Plus, people were increasingly unable to come up the mountain.
At the same time, it cost me $6,000 to correct some electrical errors.
And I need to put in a rainwater collection system which will cost about $4,000.
Further, I am wanting to move forward with the next episodes in the Goshen project, and that will cost some thousands of dollars, but that can wait.
Whew!!!!!!!
God is good, and He knows what He is doing! But my faith is being stretched.
If you feel like contributing financially, you can do so in the following ways.

I would love to have people standing with me in this!
FIRST NATIONS
The connection with the First Nations peoples continues. I was recently at a prayer gathering, and we were praying for another tribe, not a South Carolina tribe, but we asked all the local Native people to come forward to pray … and again, there were at least as many Natives in the room as non-natives. It usually takes a direct invitation to First Nations people for them to reveal themselves, but when they do the atmosphere of God’s Presence increases. Every single time. So the process of honoring and celebrating and returning and restoring value and appreciation continues. With Beckah Shae, who is half Cherokee and half Jewish, coming for Sukkot, we are continuing to represent this land in God’s economy.
YOM TIRUOT/ROSH HASHANAH
As we are preparing for Yom Tiruot/Rosh HaShanah, closing out the month of Elul, I am thinking about “all” the ways God is preparing us to be more appreciative, more honoring, more available, more celebrative, more REAL with Him. I have been focusing on Covenant. His Eternal, Everlasting Covenant with us, His promise to always be here for us, and how He wants us to walk in Him. I love what Yeshua brought us on the Cross, and how the LORD has so richly and beautifully provided for us, giving us room to grow and mature and become who we are meant to be, in Him.
Still learning over here, still maturing. It is good.
Much love!
Wendy
