Burning Weeds and Birthing Wheat

Burning the Weeds and Birthing the Wheat

It was in 2018 that the Lord began to tell me that he was done with mixture. After that the chaos began in Israel’s government, and then that chaos spread to the United States and the world.

In the parable of the wheat growing with the weeds, God put up with mixture for a long time. When both became ripe, God told the harvesters to bind up and burn the weeds first and then to gather the wheat. In my mind, because the weeds had no fruit in them to bear them down, their heads stood up tall and proud. But when the seeds ripened in the wheat, their heads were bowed down by the weight of what they were birthing, as if in prayer. That made it easy for the harvesters to tell the difference. In the story, the weeds were gathered first and burnt. Only then was the fruit for Gods kingdom harvested.  Now, in the world, the enemy is standing tall, and believers are bowing their heads in prayer and in sorrow. But we will bear fruit and we will be here to bring in God’s kingdom.

It’s like in Yeshua’s time, right before the cross, when He told His disciples that it was darkness‘s hour. This is also his hour. Revealing his strategy and his hand will lead to his defeat. Yeshua defeated him the first time and Yeshua will defeat him now. That is how God will erase his influence on the earth.

In this process, I pray that all the elements of our culture that stand against Yeshua and His influence will be erased. How far God will go with this at this time I don’t know. Where are we in the end times … I don’t know exactly. My sense is that we have entered into the time where all that is evil will be revealed and then will be squashed. But it is possible that there will be another time of reprieve before that happens. God will show his hand and reveal himself over the next few years.

Whether something is the enemy‘s doing or God’s doing is not very relevant to me, because we know from both the Old Testament and the New Testament that the enemy must ask permission before he can cause harm. We see that in the story of Job and we also see that in the story of Peter being sifted like wheat.

Let’s all remember to be about our Father’s business and trust Him, with heads bowed in prayer and arms uplifted in praise. Shalom to all.

    1. Hi, Kornelia, thank you for letting me know. May your day be full of God’s blessings and joy … we are expecting a tornado here … but it has become calm and quiet instead. May all our lives reach into the calm center of God’s Heart, and be lived from within there. Shalom!
