Encounter

Shalom!

In my awareness, last night, war, violence, and rage became intimate, personal. Wherever there was anger or cellular memory of abuse, or anything that still cringed in pain or that wanted revenge, the Lord showed me how to undo them completely. We worked them through till there was such a reservoir of peace inside of me I felt like a banquet table of shalom, that anybody who came near me would feed on the peace of the living God; limpid like clean, fresh, gently running water, so fresh, so pure, so insignificant yet so valuable. Anybody who drank from my waters would be filled with the most extraordinary love and forgiveness and kindness and mercy imaginable. Yeshua in me, the hope of glory.

Then, when this correction was resoundingly resonant, God poured it out into the world, into Israel, into the surrounding nations, into all the people groups. His blood love, His forgiveness, His peace poured out over the world, as He was embracing the whole world in His love. Every nation, every people group, helping every other, every person gently, happily, with a resounding, clear, sound, helping each other. Limitless, unending support and encouragement. Heaven coming to earth, God‘s kingdom here, on earth, as it is in heaven. No Jew. No Gentile. No Arab. No enemies. Limitless friendship. Limitless love. Limitless joy in care and support.

Then I asked the Lord, “But how do we get there?“ And He said, “That’s exactly where you are, after I cleansed you. And if you keep allowing Me to keep you clean, to wash your feet, so that none of the influences of darkness can impact you, if you remain so deeply engaged in My light that you’re continuously bathed in My love, then that’s where you’ll stay, to share My Love Kingdom with the world. And yes, that presence of My love, of My kindness, of My compassion, going out all over the world is My kingdom coming to earth, it is My will being done on earth as it is in heaven.”

And I wondered, thinking of the world, “But we’re so far from that.” And He said, “Cleansing starts in the house of the Lord. Begin. Talk about this. Teach about this. Live this. Inspire people into this. And watch and see what will happen.” I thought, “This could spread like wildfire.”

And He said, “Holy fire. Live as if it’s already true. Breathe it in, imagine it, believe in it, notice it, wherever a glimmer of it appears, acknowledge it in the tiniest of details and in the grandest of actions and thoughts, and call upon My name continuously to bring this about. Give Me no rest until it is so.”

“OK, Lord,” I replied.

I sat still in wonder. Later, small things happened that distracted me from the Lord. I sat back down with Him and did not ignore the seemingly minor distractions. Immediately, He cleansed them off of me. It took about five minutes. Then I continued with my day.

I believe that if we allow the Lord to keep healing and correcting us, to keep us squeaky clean, we will positively affect all of the actions on the earth today. What we do at the micro level impacts all of existence at the macro level. The choice is ours to be responsible as the fullness of His representatives on earth.

Dear Lord, this is so far beyond me, the vision You gave me is almost ridiculously utopic. But You say this is how You see the world, in faith, and I know it’s true. And I have experienced that this is how You’re recreating me. I will breathe into this, live into this, speak into this, bring joy into this, engage with people into this, and I’m not going to back down. Guide my eyes to always see the world through Your eyes of faith. Guide me to see all people through Your eyes of faith. Give me Your faith for what the world and its people are meant to be. Hallelujah!
